Norway extended compulsory military service to women in summer 2016. Women currently make up about ten percent of the Norwegian Armed Forces. All medically fit women aged between 19 and 44 years will be obliged to complete at least 19 months of military service.

Yes, women are physically weaker than in men in pure strength and about 10-15% in endurance speed, but the number of frontline combat troops has plummeted to abysmal because you need operators for all the weapon systems that kill the enemy the guys in front stumbled over.

this is not only norway..belgium is in the same boat with 49.000...i don't understand these massive cutbacks and at the same time act like assholes to russia..don't piss off the hybernating bear..focus on your domestic problems.
